Hi
I am currently in Kalkan and have been speaking to local business people
who want a map producing. Google maps data is from 2003 and there has
been a lot of development since then, Microsoft simply doesn't know the
place exists. The area involved is a 5km * 2km area, and some OSM
mapping has already been done by myself and others but not enough.
We're curious as to whether the data being offered by Arvento will have
detailed coverage of Kalkan, if anybody is planning on doing some more
mapping any time soon, and if there is any data source I may be unaware
of. We may be able to put some money up for a bounty if somebody was
able to sufficiently map the roads.
